Hidden Riches
This is one of my favorites of Nora's non-Eve-Dallas books. It has plenty of suspense and romance, but it also has lots of humor. There are fun/interesting characters, and the relationship between the lead couple is filled with tongue-in-cheek patter, a la 40s movies.
