This was a very good book, but long and sometimes the statistics got tedious. I can understand why he seemed determined to provide inexhaustible evidence for something he knew his audience might have trouble believing, but it's very difficult to read through descriptions of dry study after study on the same or very similar topic.
However, in the sections where he is simply discussing what all those statistics mean, and later in his discussions of why the changes have occurred, he excels. His writing is clear and compelling, sometimes humorous. I enjoyed it, and would recommend to anyone willing to take a little time to learn something about humanity.
